Partition missing / not visible

    Used ProDiscover to image a hard drive from a Dell system. The restore partition is visible, but the OS partition is not. Any known issue with this? EnCase was able to see the OS partition without any problem.

    datagrab, Thanks for posting to the forums. Can you send log files from ProDiscover to support@techpathways.com?

    To enable the log files go to Help, Enable Log files, ProDiscover, Level 2. Once logging is enabled add the image to a PD project, and view the image in Content View. Confirm that only the recovery partition is available.

    The log files are placed into the ProDiscover application directory which can be found, by default, at: C:\Program Files\Technology Pathways\ProDiscover

    The logs are in a folder titled with the date and time logging was enabled. In addition to the log files please add what version of ProDiscover and the build number (the latest release build is 4.89).
