I have installed ProDiscover 4.8a from CD that accompanied Guide to Computer Forensics and Investigations 3rd Edition textbook on my Vista 64 bit computer. I am enrolled in a Computer Forensics program at my College. When using ProDiscover on one of the Hands-on Projects I get a Windows error - DFT MFC Application has stopped working. Windows will now close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
If I have to upgrade to Version 5 or higher because I am running on Vista how do I do that?

ProDiscover version 4.8 is somewhat dated and does not support Vista 64 bit. I recommend you downloading and using the latest version of ProDiscover Basic 6.0 from the resources section of our web site at http://www.techpathways.com/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabindex=7&tabid=14 The latest version of ProDiscover Basic is always available for download from this site.
