Put a Dixon box in the status bar. It should at least show the number of files currently selected in the work area, or if nothing is selected, the number of total files/folders. It would save a lot of time if I get ready to run a search and notice that there are currently 43,000,000 files in the work area that will be searched. (Don't call it a Dixon box. The EnCase folks will probably get very upset)

After a day or two, I can figure out how to push F1 for help.
Happy Monday, everyone,
Jerry
Re: Status Bar

Jerry,

Thanks for posting to the forums. It sounds like you found a typo in the manual. For file count, list of selected files, and other important information you can review the report. ProDiscover automatically provides the file path, hash value, ACL data, etc. whan a file is selected as Evidence of Interest. I believe you find the information you are looking for in the report.

Again, thanks for posting the forums and I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
