HI All,

Many of you already know that we have a U3 install for ProDiscover Basic, but some have expressed the desire to run ProDiscover Basic from a PE Boot Disk. Because of the increased interest we created a Bart’s PE boot disk plugin. Here are the directions.

1.       Download the latest Bart PE Builder (http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/)

2.       Download the ProDiscover Basic PEBuilder Plugin (http://toorcon.techpathways.com/uploads/PDBasicPEPlugin.zip

3.       Install Bart’s PE Builder

4.       Unzip PDBasicPEPlugin.zip into a “ProDiscover” directory under the Bart’s PE Builder “plugin” directory.  Example: C:\pebuilder3110a\plugin\ProDiscover.

5.       Follow the directions to create a PE Boot disk at http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/ ensuring that the newly added ProDiscover Basic Plugin is activated.

Note: Since ProDiscover is not being installed on the system in the usual fashion, the MSCAL.OCX is not being registered causing a registration error when loading ProDiscover. This error can be ignored and all functions work normally with the exception of the search calendar for MAC time filtering.
